The November Edition of the PRIME MATHgazine is now available. Readers of all ages are invited to submit solutions to the MATHgazine challenges.  Send in your answers today.  Deadline to submit answers for the November issue is January 1, 2012.

The Center for Practice, Research and Innovation in Mathematics Education was established to:

  • Expand the talents of mathematically promising middle and high school students
  • Work with ASU faculty and students on research and development projects
  • Assist students at all levels with difficulties in mathematics
  • Provide parent seminars and workshops
  • Involve the community in mathematics education
  • Increase the pool of talented mathematics teachers
  • Offer professional development opportunities

Volunteers Needed for Seniors Supporting Students

The PRIME Center is seeking volunteers for our “Seniors Supporting Students” math mentoring program. This rewarding program matches senior volunteers and students who need extra help with basic math skills in grades K-4 at local elementary schools. Read more
